Materials
Yarn: Kit includes 48 g of Color 4 (white) and 12 g of every other color. If you prefer to use your own yarn, work in a different needle size, or work in a different stitch, yarn amounts and colors may vary, but you will need: Color 1: a dark shade of blue/turquoise/"cool" color of your choice Color 2: a medium shade of blue/turquoise/"cool" color of your choice Color 3: a light shade of blue/turquoise/"cool" color of your choice Color 4: white/off-white/natural white Color 5: a light shade of pink/orange/"warm" color of your choice Color 6: a medium shade of pink/orange/"warm" color of your choice Color 7: a dark shade of pink/orange/"warm" color of your choice Color 4 will be used four times as much as any other color, so make sure you have plenty of it. Needles: Kit intended for U.S. 10 / 6 mm needles. Finished Measurements: If you cast on the suggested number of stitches, these instructions will yield a scarf about 60" long and 5" wide. Instructions With Color 1, CO 17 sts. Work in garter stitch (= knit every row, turning work at end of each row) in Color 1 until the piece measures approx. 6".
