E-Bike Loan Program
Thinking about how you can get around without a car? Wondering if bicycling could work for you—if only you could handle the hills? An electric bicycle might be just the answer, and this loan program can help you decide.
Two different e-bikes are available for loan in Norwich this month, thanks to Burlington-based Local Motion and their program sponsors and partners.
The loan program is a collaboration among the Norwich Energy Committee, Vital Communities, and Norwich Public Library.
The e-bikes are hosted at Norwich Public Library. Reservations for the six-day loan periods are full, showing a tremendous level of interest in electric-assist bikes!
30-minute slots for short test rides are available on a drop-in basis on four Wednesdays, 11 am through 4:30 pm, August 14, 21, 28, and September 4.
If you decide that an e-bike works for you, as a GMP customer you can get an instant $200 rebate when you buy a new e-bike.
